What will you do?
Vectorious is seeking a hands-on and innovative Electronics Engineer specializing in board design to join our R&D team.
The position focuses on developing test boards and infrastructure for the characterization of mixed-signal ICs under various operating and temperature conditions. This is a multidisciplinary role that involves analog, digital, and embedded system design, as well as close collaboration with IC, system, and algorithm team
- Design and build test boards for the characterization of mixed-signal ICs operating under different conditions and temperatures.
- Develop the complete test infrastructure, including the design and integration of measurement systems and test equipment, enabling full chip characterization and datasheet generation.
- Design and implement boards combining analog and digital circuits, including embedded processors and control interfaces.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define test requirements, measurement goals, and performance evaluation methods.
- Manage and supervise external contractors involved in board design, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Perform board bring-up, debugging, and optimization to ensure design functionality and measurement accuracy.
- Conduct electrical, thermal, and reliability testing of components and systems.
- Document characterization results and support the creation of detailed chip datasheets
What do you need to bring with you?
- B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in full cycle board design for chip characterization, including analog and digital domains.
- Strong understanding of mixed-signal ICs and their operation.
- Proficiency with standard electronic design tools (schematic capture, PCB layout).
- Familiarity with board assembly, validation, and testing processes.
- Familiarity with environmental and temperature-controlled testing.
- Experience in component reliability and stress testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
