What will you do?:

    • Lead the design, development, and verification of electromechanical systems and assemblies for medical devices.

    Participate in risk management processes

    • Design, develop, optimize, and improve Vectorious' mechanical components which are parts of electromechanical systems

    in accordance with design input, the company's mission and goals.

    • Lead the communicate with Engineering team regarding transfer to production of R&D electromechanical systems.
    • Identify and resolve problems that occur due to design issues including multidisciplinary problems and/or vendor errors.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, quality, electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers.

    Participate in formal design and development reviews

    • Develop, optimize, and improve integration & assembly processes
    • Manage product development and design reviews as appropriate.
    • Write and review ECO’s and ensure validations are performed properly.
    • Support Engineering team in designing, building, testing and maintaining test fixtures used in manufacturing.
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives
    • Stay updated with advancements in medical device technology and regulatory changes
    • Conducts project meetings and prepares reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the

    project team for project you are responsible for

    • Identifies and reacts to system project problems and recommends solutions

What do you need to bring with you?:

    • BSc in Mechanical Engineering
    • Minimum 7 year of experience as a system engineer role or similar
    • Minimum 5 year of experience in medical device company.
    • Proficiency with Solidworks
    • Familiarity with ISO 13485 IEC60601-1
    • Experience with multidisciplinary systems
    • Proficiency with mechanical and manufacturing drawings
    • Experience with implantable (class III) devices – an advantage
