Universal Diagnostics (UDx) is seeking a Senior Inventory Control Coordinator to support inventory operations, material flow, and inventory management workflows across the laboratory environment. This role will play a key part in improving and scaling inventory processes that support laboratory operations, manufacturing activities, study execution, and operational readiness across the organization.
The Sr Inventory Control Coordinator will support incoming shipments, inventory tracking, stock organization, and material distribution activities while helping develop standardized workflows for inventory control, material traceability, and inventory accuracy across laboratory and manufacturing operations.
This position will work closely with Lab Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, Quality, and laboratory teams to support compliant material management practices and ensure critical reagents, consumables, and materials are available to support daily operations.
How you’ll contribute:
- Support incoming shipments, inventory receipt, material organization, and stock replenishment activities
- Maintain accurate inventory records including lot numbers, expiration dates, storage conditions, and inventory transactions
- Assist with improving inventory management workflows and organizational systems to support laboratory and manufacturing operations
- Support inventory control processes, material traceability practices, and inventory accuracy activities
- Coordinate inventory distribution and fulfillment of laboratory and manufacturing requests
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply risks or replenishment needs
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Lab Operations teams to support compliant material management activities
- Utilize inventory tracking systems and inventory management tools to support material tracking and reporting activities
- Support operational readiness, continuous improvement initiatives, and adherence to laboratory safety and material handling requirements
What you’ll bring:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience supporting inventory operations, workflow coordination, and material management activities in a laboratory, manufacturing, or regulated environment
- Experience developing or improving inventory management workflows, organizational systems, or operational processes preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage inventory across multiple operational areas
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems, Excel, Smartsheet, ERP systems, or inventory management software; LIMS experience is a plus
- Understanding of FIFO inventory practices and storage requirements for laboratory reagents, consumables, and manufacturing materials
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with a proactive and process-improvement oriented mindset
