About our Company:
Universal DX, Inc. is an international Company with a highly experienced team focused on cracking cancer’s code. Through our multi-omics and bioinformatics models, we have figured out how to read the disease’s signals in blood with high accuracy to detect cancer in its earliest stages. Starting with a colorectal cancer screening liquid biopsy test, we are building a multi-cancer platform that can identify the unique DNA regions associated with different types of cancers.

How you’ll contribute:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager based in the United States to report directly to the CFO and support the financial, legal, and operational needs of our US subsidiary. This role will play a key part in ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and planning during a critical growth phase for the Company. The Finance Manager will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external advisors, contributing both strategically and hands-on across a wide range of finance-related activities.
What you’ll bring:
- Oversee and coordinate all accounting, tax, and legal compliance matters for the US entity, in collaboration with external advisors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements, including filings, payments, and audits.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes, working closely with the CFO and business stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance versus budget and support variance analysis and reporting.
- Assist in cash management activities, including liquidity planning and foreign exchange management between the US and other geographies.
- Support procurement and vendor management activities, including financial evaluation, contract review, and participation in supplier negotiations.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, management presentations, and ad-hoc analyses for internal decision-making.
- Help establish, document, and improve financial processes, controls, and policies to support scale and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and legal counsel as needed.Occasionally, lead day-to-day operational management of assigned clinical studies from start-up through close-out.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 8-10+ years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, with progressively increasing responsibility.
- Prior experience in a managerial or senior individual contributor role within a fast-growing company, preferably in biotech, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry, with exposure to scaling organizations.
- Experience working with US GAAP and familiarity with international or multi-entity environments is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial planning, and corporate finance fundamentals.
- Solid knowledge of US tax and legal compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with R&D incentives, grants and other related tax credits applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- High level of ownership, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience with oracle-Netsuite ERP and reporting tools is a plus.
