About our Company:

Universal DX, Inc. is an international Company with a highly experienced team focused on cracking cancer’s code. Through our multi-omics and bioinformatics models, we have figured out how to read the disease’s signals in blood with high accuracy to detect cancer in its earliest stages. Starting with a colorectal cancer screening liquid biopsy test, we are building a multi-cancer platform that can identify the unique DNA regions associated with different types of cancers.

The Opportunity:

Universal DX is seeking a Senior Biomedical Equipment Technician to support its NGS-based Assay Development Laboratory and manufacturing operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. The Senior Biomedical Equipment Technician will manage the maintenance, calibration, and verification of laboratory and manufacturing equipment to ensure compliance with GMP and internal quality system requirements. This role is essential to maintaining the reliability and performance of critical instruments used in assay development, validation, and production activities. The technician will perform day to day upkeep, coordinate vendor service visits, and complete required documentation.

A key aspect of this role involves collaborating with vendors and internal teams to schedule maintenance, perform minor repairs, and ensure timely service across all operational areas. The technician will also support IQ and OQ activities in partnership with Quality to verify that all equipment meets performance and compliance standards. The successful candidate must excel in a collaborative environment, communicate effectively with cross functional teams, and demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

What you will bring:

· Associate degree in electronics, biomedical engineering technology, or related technical field preferred.

· 3–5 years of experience maintaining, calibrating, or qualifying laboratory or manufacturing equipment.

· Experience supporting a regulated environment (GMP, GLP, or CLIA) strongly preferred

· Previous experience coordinating with vendors for calibration, service, and preventive maintenance activities.

· Ability to perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments to ensure continued instrument reliability.

· Familiarity with eQMS and equipment documentation practices preferred.
