TeraCyte is looking for a proactive QA student who’s nearing graduation and ready to take ownership of quality assurance in our products. You’ll be the first and only QA, so you’ll lead the entire testing effort, work closely with developers, and help shape our internal QA processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, write, and execute manual test cases across desktop and web products.
• Identify, report, and lead the prioritization and management of bugs.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Help define and maintain documentation around testing flows and QA processes.
• Contribute to test automation efforts when applicable.
• Take full ownership of QA — from test planning to release validation.

Qualifications

• Final-year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Available to work at least 3 days a week in a hybrid setup.
• Technical background (e.g., basic programming, scripting, system usage).
• Detail-oriented, highly independent, and able to take initiative.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Exposure to writing scripts in Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with QA or automation tools from personal or academic projects.
