TeraCyte is seeking a Field Application Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Field Application Scientist you will be the front-line expert who ensures every customer extracts maximum value from the TeraCyte system. You’ll install and calibrate instruments, run proof-of-concept assays in customer labs, and serve as the primary technical liaison between scientists in the field and our in-house biology, engineering and BD teams. Your success will be measured by customer satisfaction, assay performance, and the insights you feed back into product development.

Key Responsibilities

• On-site installation & training – Deliver instrument setup, calibration, and hands-on user training (hardware, software, and sample prep).
• Assay execution & troubleshooting – Run studies and customer pilot projects; optimize protocols, and diagnose biology or hardware issues in real time.
• Cross-functional feedback loop – Relay field observations to R&D and Product
• Travel throughout Israel up to 80% of the time

Qualifications

• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with cell culture techniques
• Comfort working around electromechanical hardware, optics, and basic troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with imaging data analysis tools and techniques - preferred

• Outstanding communication in Hebrew and English; able to translate complex science into clear guidance for diverse audiences.
• Proven problem-solver who thrives in the field, manages multiple priorities, and remains calm under time pressure.
