About Strados Labs
Strados Labs is a clinical trial solutions company focused on advancing how respiratory disease is measured in clinical research.
Our platform combines proprietary respiratory sensing technology with validated pulmonary function testing and digital clinical tools to deliver high-quality respiratory endpoint data across clinical trials. From continuous cough and lung sound monitoring to spirometry, FeNO, and respiratory patient-reported outcomes, Strados supports the full spectrum of respiratory measurement required in modern drug development.
By enabling both real-world monitoring and traditional site-based assessments, Strados helps pharmaceutical sponsors and CRO partners capture more meaningful respiratory data, reduce trial complexity, and improve the evaluation of new therapies.
Position Overview
The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing Strados Labs’ marketing strategy during a period of rapid commercial scaling and market expansion. This role is a senior, hands-on position with end-to-end ownership of positioning, demand generation, sales enablement, events, and marketing operations. The Director will orchestrate a network of trusted external marketing partners and contractors (design, web development, content, and PR) while personally owning strategy, execution, and measurable marketing outcomes.
The Marketing Director will act as a force multiplier to the commercial team, using account-based marketing, HubSpot automation, AI-enabled tools, and targeted industry presence to accelerate pipeline creation, deal velocity, and brand credibility within the clinical trials market.
The role is ideal for a marketing leader who enjoys building and executing programs personally, using modern digital tools, automation platforms, and AI-enabled workflows to create measurable commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Strados Labs’ commercial growth objectives.
- Own and evolve the company’s platform-level positioning, messaging, and narrative as Strados broadens beyond a single-product offering.
- Define competitive positioning and differentiation within the respiratory clinical trials and digital endpoints landscape.
2. Demand Generation & Pipeline Acceleration
- Design and lead account-based demand generation programs aligned to a defined universe of target pharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, and key clinical trial decision-makers (clinical operations, biometrics, and medical teams).
- Own and operate HubSpot as the core marketing and revenue platform, including workflows, automation, scoring, and reporting.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and modern marketing automation to scale content creation, personalization, targeting, and campaign optimization with limited headcount.
- Ensure marketing activity is focused on high-intent engagement and measurable pipeline impact, not vanity lead volume.
3. Sales & Commercial Enablement
- Partner closely with the CCO and Sales team to develop high-impact sales enablement assets, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and follow-up sequences.
- Build automated nurture and follow-up programs that support sales conversations and reduce manual effort.
- Align marketing programs directly to sales priorities, deal stages, and revenue goals.
4. Conferences, Events & Industry Presence
· Own Strados Labs’ conference and exhibition strategy and execution, including flagship events such as ATS and ERS, which represent key commercial investments for the company.
· Plan and optimize event participation including booth strategy, messaging, pre-event outreach, on-site activation, and post-event follow-up aligned with sales and account-based engagement plans.
· Measure and report on event ROI, including pipeline influence and deal progression.
5. Content, Evidence & Thought Leadership
- Oversee the creation of credible, evidence-based marketing content, including white papers, case studies, conference materials, and clinical data storytelling.
· Support thought leadership initiatives and speaking opportunities that enhance Strados’ credibility with sponsors, CROs, and clinical stakeholders.
· Manage external agencies, contractors, and fractional marketing partners supporting design, web development, and content production.
6. Analytics, Operations & Performance
· Define, track, and report on key marketing KPIs tied to pipeline contribution, deal progression, and revenue outcomes.
· Analyze engagement data to refine targeting, messaging, and campaign effectiveness.
· Own the marketing budget, ensuring investment is prioritized for maximum commercial impact.
7. Function & Team Development
· Establish scalable marketing systems, processes, and standards to support future growth.
· Contribute to planning for additional marketing hires and resources as the business scales.
