THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Clinical Research Specialist I. Key responsibilities include recruiting volunteers to participate in sensor wear sessions to collect data from the sensors for specific needs and developments. Data collections may support internal development, improved usability or be part of regulatory submissions to the FDA and other regulatory bodies. This is an excellent position for someone interested in playing a key role in capturing important data necessary to advance Sibel technology and achieve important company level goals. This person will have direct interaction with Data Science, Business Development, Materials Sciences, Hardware and Regulatory Affairs teams. Interest, aptitude and success in supporting any of these key areas has high potential for career growth.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

  • Plan and execute clinical trial programs and clinical studies.
  • Prepare and deliver sensor kits for clinical research programs at local sites.
  • Conduct research studies including but not limited to, informed consent collection, application of sensors, and monitoring results.
  • Recruit subjects for clinical studies at various locations.
  • Create advertising or marketing materials to recruit volunteers.
  • Telephone, email and in-person screening and evaluation for volunteer data collection.
  • Collect data from participants wearing sensors following specific protocols.
  • Lead focus groups to gather information about device usability.
  • Support drafting manuscript preparation.
  • Prepare IRB protocols and other documentation for human subject research.
  • Data cleaning, labeling, and analysis.
  • Provide feedback on sensor use, wear, and practical considerations to key stakeholders.
  • Perform outreach and education activities on Sibel products.
  • Provide feedback on software User Interface or User Experience.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences field or related
  • A minimum of one year of experience in clinical research
  • A passion for wearable technology
  • A proactive, organized and systemic critical thinker
  • Possesses the interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of individuals when presenting opportunities for volunteer-based data gathering
