THE OPPORTUNITY:
At Sibel Health, we are on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic Sr. Program Manager (PgM) who thrives in managing a diverse range of projects, varying in both size and complexity, across multiple commercial and engineering disciplines. WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
- Own end-to-end program planning, execution, and delivery, in support of Sibel Health’s business & product objectives.
- Own end-to-end program planning, execution, and delivery in support of Sibel Health’s business and product objectives.
- Establish and maintain core program management foundations, including schedules, action tracking, risk management, resource and budget planning, and post-program learnings—ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Drive disciplined execution across the product development lifecycle by leading adherence to organizational tools, processes, and governance (e.g., program plans, risk mitigation, change management, status reporting, phase reviews, and documentation).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and remove execution roadblocks.
- Facilitate day-to-day program operations, including leading core team meetings, enabling effective collaboration, capturing decisions and action items, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks; lead development of mitigation strategies to prevent impact to program outcomes.
- Escalate issues and drive timely resolution by engaging appropriate stakeholders and leadership.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Program Management Office (PMO) by improving processes, tools, and best practices using AI.
- Support global collaboration with up to 10% international travel.
ABOUT YOU:
- 5+ years of program management experience in New Product Development (NPD/NPI), with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in medical device development or another highly regulated industry (e.g., automotive, aerospace, defense).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and maintain focus on priorities and outcomes.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs from concept through launch.
- Deep understanding of hardware product development, including areas such as electrical/mechanical design, PCBA, tooling, quality/APQP, verification & validation, and cross-functional product/business management.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, navigating both high-level program direction and detailed delivery needs.
- Skilled in risk management, decision-making, and influencing diverse teams to align with organizational goals and culture.
- High ownership mindset with strong accountability, integrity, and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable operating independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, Smartsheet, or similar.
- Experience with or strong willingness to adopt AI-driven tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Jira AI, Notion AI) and workflows to improve program execution, reporting, and decision-making within the PMO.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
YOU MAY THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF:
- 8+ years of experience leading new product development/introduction programs in the medical device industry.
- Thorough understanding of core program management principles and how to apply or adapt them as needed.
- Experience leading programs and program deliverables with international teams and external contract services.
- PMP (Project Management Professional), Certified Scrum Master, PRINCE2 certification.
- Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills. Experience negotiating, managing change, goal setting, planning and organizing teamwork, conflict resolution, resource constraint, and problem-solving with the ability to address difficult situations.
- Successfully managed multiple programs from conception through commercialization ideally in the medical device industry.
- Exposure to systems engineering, concept engineering, hardware and software development, validation and systems integration.
- Experience in FDA regulatory submission (US) and/or CE mark regulatory submissions (EU).
- Experience in regulatory submissions requiring clinical studies (510k clinicals and/or IDE/PMA clinicals).
