About the Job:
The candidate will oversee daily financial operations, ensure accurate accounting, manage statutory compliance (GST/TDS, ESI, EPF), perform month-end closing, and prepare financial reports to support management decision-making.
Your responsibilities:
- Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Finalization of Accounts: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
- Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B), TDS, PF, ESI, and PT compliance, including filing and reconciliations.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Month-end Close: Own and manage the monthly close process to meet strict timelines.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- MIS Reporting: Prepare and analyse management reports, including budget vs. actual variance analysis.
- Forex Transactions & Treasury (Import/Export) : foreign currency transactions, co-ordinate for remittance, foreign inward remittances (FIRC), and timely realization of Import & export proceeds.
Skill sets/Experience we require:
- Education: B. Com/M. Com/MBA (Finance)
- Experience: 4–5 years of core accounting/finance experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Zoho Books, SAP, or Tally .
- Excel Expertise: Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Validation).
- Tax Knowledge: Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and direct taxes.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, and able to work independently.
