Position Summary
Puzzle Medical Devices® inc is currently seeking a Process Engineer to design, implements, documents, and improves manufacturing processes to ensure the quality, reliability, and efficiency of device production. They will contribute to product industrialization and ensure process stability. They will also participate in resolving technical issues and in continuous improvement efforts
Responsabilities
Develop and maintain reliable manufacturing processes (machining, inspection, finishing, cleaning) in compliance with quality requirements;
Optimize processes and production workflows to improve quality and efficiency;
Participate in product industrialization, from development through transfer to production;
Design and implement tooling adapted to production needs;
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues;
Implement continuous improvement initiatives;
Ensure process robustness in production by controlling variability and establishing clear, sustainable standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
5 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities;
Experience in the manufacturing sector and machining.
Knowledge & Skills
Basic knowledge of tooling and fixture design;
Proven experience in technical and process documentation;
Advanced proficiency in technical writing and strong reading comprehension in both French and English. The role requires communication with colleagues, suppliers, and clients internationally;
Good proficiency in SolidWorks;
Knowledge of ISO 13485 is considered an asset;
Strong organizational skills and excellent ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment;
Hands-on approach combined with a strong execution mindset;
Good analytical skills;
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
