Position summary

Nous recherchons un(e) électromécanicien(ne) afin d’assurer la maintenance préventive et corrective des équipements et des installations. Le rôle comprend le dépannage électrique et mécanique, le remplacement et l’ajustement de composants, ainsi qu’une documentation rigoureuse des interventions dans notre logiciel de maintenance. La personne contribuera également aux activités générales de maintenance afin d’assurer la fiabilité et la performance des opérations.

Responsabilities

  • Preventive maintenance:Execute scheduled PM tasks on defined systems, including (compressor rooms, tooling, water filtration systems, and daily inspection walks.)

  • Troubleshooting & Diagnosis: Identify root causes of common electrical and mechanical failures (e.g., sensor faults, motor overloads, basic pneumatic issues).

  • Repair & Calibration: Perform component replacement (e.g., fuses, relays, belts, filters) and basic calibration of sensors and limit switches.

  • Documentation: Accurately record all work performed, parts used, and time spent in our maintenance software.

  • Facility support: Assist with facility maintenance tasks as directed by a supervisor.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of hands-on electromechanical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems without constant supervision.

  • Demonstrated experience with CNC equipment.

  • Strong working knowledge of pneumatics and motor systems, including fault diagnosis and component replacement.

  • Direct experience executing preventative maintenance programs in a structured environment.

  • Comfortable working within digital maintenance and quality systems (e.g., CMMS such as MaintainX, QMS platforms).

Aptitudes

  • Strong documentation discipline, including accurate logging of work performed, parts used, and time tracking.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup.

  • Adaptable and able to work effectively within a young, growing team environment.

  • Expert in French and advanced proficiency in English. The role requires communication with colleagues, suppliers, and clients internationally.
