Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications:

The team lead supervises, coordinates, and participates in activities of the Courier Services.

Location: Nashville, TN

Days: Monday - Friday (some weekends)

Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm (can vary depending on schedule changes)

In this role you will:

  • Plan and schedule work for couriers
  • Cover routes as needed
  • Ensure routine inspection of vehicles
  • schedule maintenance and repairs for vehicles.
  • Educate employees in the safe and proper operation of vehicles, transportation, and record keeping of time sensitive specimens.
  • Monitor courier performance and provide follow-up instructions.
  • Perform IT related functions as needed.

All you need is:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Minimum of two (2) years courier or customer service experience required.
  • Work experience with heavy phone utilization preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the geographic area and knowledge of routes, schedules, and shifts.
