INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
MY01 is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join its team. This person will be responsible for expanding product adoption, optimizing clinical and financial outcomes, and building long-term relationships with key accounts and training programs. This position requires a candidate with a strong focus on business development, education, and clinical support who can execute strategic initiatives with residents, fellows, clinical staff, and distribution partners. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Director and work 40 hours per week. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-performing startup environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Develop a strategic plan to drive MY01 product adoption across key accounts and training programs.
- Align execution with corporate objectives and track performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on onboarding, educational initiatives, and clinical support.
- Track and support residents and fellows from their initial training through their transition to independent practice.
- Work with sales leadership to ensure a smooth handoff to representatives after training.
- Provide high-impact training and education that focuses on clinical outcomes and product utility.
- Increase engagement at key accounts to drive product utilization and ROI.
- Communicate insights about competitive activity and unmet needs to Marketing.
- Identify and implement initiatives that support surgeon education and product integration.
- Act as a clinical and technical expert for training programs and in-field education.
- Work with thought leaders and healthcare professionals to advance the understanding and adoption of MY01 products.
- Help with internal process improvements and the development of tools for fellow engagement.
- Align resident and fellowship strategies with the organization's broader capabilities and global materials.
- Work with Marketing and Sales Leadership on branding, communication strategy, and market differentiation.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- This position requires routine travel to visit sights across the US.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- A bachelor's degree is required. An MBA is preferred.
- At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 7 years in medical device, medical education, or related clinical fields. Experience in Orthopedics/Vascular is highly desirable.
- Proven success working in complex environments that involve structured procedures and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong business acumen.
- Passion for education, clinical outcomes, and innovation.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems.
