About the Role

We’re hiring a driven and strategic operator to lead the growth of our international clinical site network. This is a rare opportunity to architect and execute global growth at a high-velocity healthcare company. You’ll drive market prioritization, define site partnership models and implementation, and shape the site-level product to meet regional sponsor needs. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, operations, and executive leadership to ensure our international footprint accelerates trial performance at scale with the full support of a fast-scaling company.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with urgency, and knows how to go from insight to execution. You’ll be building the foundation of our ex-US research business and writing the playbook as you go.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Expansion Strategy
    • Define and drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our clinical site footprint across ex-US markets
    • Prioritize markets based on sponsor demand, trial pipeline, and financial viability
    • Develop a region-specific entry and scale-up playbook, working closely with executive leadership
  • Product-Market Fit for ex-US Sites
    • Define the differentiated services, tools, and infrastructure our ex-US sites need to outperform
    • Partner with product, operations, and tech to localize our offering while maintaining operational consistency
    • Continuously evolve our site product and service model to meet local sponsor and PI needs
    • Work closely with the executive team to report on performance, opportunities, and strategic tradeoffs
  • Strategic Stakeholder Alignment
    • Collaborate with Life Sciences (LS) to align on Ex-US sponsor priorities and strategic positioning
    • Serve as the strategic voice for ex-US markets in executive discussions
    • Shape how our international value proposition is positioned with global pharma leaders

What We’re Looking For

Required qualifications

  • 6–10 years in strategy, operations, international expansion, or growth roles
  • Background in top-tier consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or operator roles with global scope
  • Ability to build from 0 to 1 and operate in high-ambiguity environments
  • Strong analytical skills paired with crisp communication and stakeholder management
  • Familiarity with clinical trials, site operations, or sponsor-side dynamics in ex-US regions
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and bias for execution

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience leading clinical site integration, M&A, or international scale-ups
  • Exposure to biotech, CRO, or healthtech ecosystems in an international context
  • Multi-country experience and cultural fluency across EU markets
