SUMMARY

Inflammatix is seeking a highly motivated Medical Device Manufacturing Technician to support the implementation of a novel manufacturing process for components of our innovative in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) products. This role is based in our Lisbon facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a flexible and fast-paced startup environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily produce reagent storage blisters (including manual processing of foils, dispensing of reagents and quality control) under clean environment conditions and according to manufacturing procedures.
  • Ensure product quality by carefully following quality control test procedures.
  • Complete appropriate training, production records and quality control records, as required.
  • Collaborate in continuous improvement tasks such as work instructions updates, production workflow optimization, and assembly / testing process improvement, with process efficiency and product quality as focal points.
  • Be compliant with the Inflammatix Quality Management System across all activities performed.
  • Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area.
  • Participation in assembly process troubleshooting and optimization, as needed.
  • Support the Design Transfer team on feasibility work for potential new products and applications.
  • Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Execute tasks according to manufacturing plans and schedules and as directed by managers.
  • Collaborating in a thoughtful, professional manner with team members to achieve group goals and meet timelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Laboratory or Pharmaceutical Technician).
  • Intermediate competence in English, oral and written.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, interpersonal and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical Specialization Course (CET) degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Laboratory or Pharmaceutical Technician).
  • Proficiency in English, oral and written.
  • Experience with handling of biological reagents.
