As an IT Team Lead, you will be providing advanced operational support for the company’s IT systems and infrastructure, focusing on the resolution of complex technical issues affecting users and systems (Level 2). We are seeking for a hands-on technical experience and people management experience as currently, you will be leading 1 person.

You will be at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare solutions to market, making a tangible difference in people´s lives worldwide.

YOUR PROFILE

Main Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex technical issues affecting users and systems.
  • Provide advanced, hands-on operational support to ensure the stability and continuity of IT services.
  • Execute infrastructure-related tasks, and corrective actions following defined architectural guidelines.
  • Act as the internal technical point of contact to coordinate, escalate, and validate operational activities with external IT service providers.
  • Support day-to-day IT operations by troubleshooting system and service issues across different technical layers.
  • Ensure incidents are properly analysed, resolved, and documented to improve future operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to maintaining a stable, and secure IT environment.
  • Formulate objectives and set goals for all the members of the IT team, monitoring and following up of performance and motivation.
  • Arrange and structure resources and tasks within the team to ensure implementation of plans.
  • Provide direction, technical support where needed, motivation and guidance towards achieving team goals.
  • Collaboratively recruits and trains employees to ensure that the organization has the right talent to achieve its goals. This also involves creating an environment that promotes employee growth and development.

Qualifications and Soft skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in an IT systems administration and infrastructure operations role (Level 2).
  • 2 years of experience managing IT teams (will be leading 1 person currently) and supporting people with IT Support, IT Help Desk roles or similar.
  • Solid background in operating and supporting enterprise IT systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft environment.
  • Experience working in environments with external IT service providers or technical partners.
  • Fluent English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Clear and structured communication.
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively with external providers, maintaining a professional and assertive relationship.
  • Good prioritization skills to manage incidents, operational tasks, and coordination activities.
  • Collaborative attitude, able to support internal team

Nice to have:

  • Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments (e.g. medical, biotech, deep-tech).
  • Familiarity with basic Zero Trust principles, MFA, and access control models.
  • Experience with monitoring, backup and recovery solutions.
  • Exposure to infrastructure changes or office relocations, supporting transitions into stable operations.
