Hertility reduces diagnosis times for some conditions from nine years to six days.

We’re seeking a talented and versatile interim Head of Data and AI to lead our talented data team, covering Analytics, AI and Data Engineering during this pivotal 12 month period.
In this role, you’ll own the data strategy, and bridging the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution. If you’re passionate about data, and making a difference in women’s health, this role is for you!
What You’ll Be Doing 🌟
Championing Data Culture & Metrics: Be the driving force for company-wide adoption of data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for maturing our use of metrics and fostering a proactive data culture.
Commercial Insight: Partner with senior leads across Growth, Finance and Product to drive a unified data strategy across attribution, acquisition and revenue metrics to enable good decision making and scalable growth.
AI Roadmap Management: Oversee the delivery of our existing long-term AI roadmap, and ensure the team remains on track with initiatives aimed at commercial and clinical goals.
Strategic Leadership: Act as a trusted partner to the senior leadership team, communicating the value of data and ensuring it supports the company’s growth.
Team Mentorship: Manage and mentor a team of five, balancing high-level planning with the ability to provide technical guidance.
All employees are required to work in alignment with Hertility’s Quality Management System and ensure their activities support compliance with ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) and ISO 27001 (ISMS), including following controlled processes, maintaining accurate records, and participating in required training.
What We’re Looking For 🎯
You’ll thrive if you’re a seasoned data leader, passionate about fertility and reproductive health and bring:
📜 Relevant Experience: Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary data teams in a start-up environment.
🗣️ Communication: Ability to advocate for our data and the data team at the executive level, and partner effectively with other teams.
💻 Technical Expertise: Hands on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Airbyte and Dagster or similar, and strong python and SQL skills. Knowledge of web analytics tools such as GA4 and Mixpanel, and MMM tools are an added advantage.
🤖 AI/ML: Confidence managing AI/ML workflows and predictive analytics projects, and best uses of AI as part your own workflow.
🌟 Change Management: Experience rolling out new business intelligence tools and improving data literacy across teams.

You will be working and reporting directly to our COO - Natalie Getreu. You’ll also work very closely with the Product, Engineering and Design team, our Founders and the rest of the Leadership team.

Initial Phone Interview
A 15-minute conversation with a member of our Talent Team to get to know you better and answer any initial questions.Competency Based Interview
A structured interview with Lorna, our Head of Data and AI and Tulsi, our Director of Product and Engineering, focusing on your experience and key competencies relevant to the role.Task & Discussion
You’ll complete a short task ahead of the interview, which you’ll present to Lorna and another member of our Data team. During the session, you’ll also be given a smaller live task to work through together. The full interview will last 1.5 hours and is designed to give us a good understanding of your approach, thinking and how you solve problems in real time.Final Interview
A final stage interview will be two parts with a 15 minute conversation with two of our Co-Founders, Natalie Getreu and Deirdre O’Neill.

Flexibility in this Role
We are looking for someone to work with us for 40 hours per week. Our operating hours are between 9am and 6pm from Monday to Friday.
