Finance Analyst (Part-time)

📆 3-4 days per week, permanent contract

💰 £40k - £55k FTE pro rata to 0.6 - 0.8 FTE or 22 to 30 hours per week (We're transparent about our salary range - most offers start at the lower end, with room to grow based on performance.)

As a Finance Analyst you’ll play an integral role in our growing company. We’re seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our Finance team to drive performance analysis and shape how we use financial insight to make smarter business decisions.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the month end close process, contribute to financial reporting and help strengthen our internal controls as we scale. What You’ll Be Doing 🌟

As our Finance Analyst you will:

  • Own and manage the month end close process, including journal entries (accruals, prepayments, revenue recognition) and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly management accounts with commentary and insights for leadership
  • Perform and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee AP/AR processes, including invoicing, pay runs and supplier reviews
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and spend reporting
  • Continuously improve our finance systems, processes and internal controls
  • Business partner across teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making

What We’re Looking For 🎯

You’ll thrive if you’re passionate about fertility and reproductive health and bring:

📜 Qualified Accountant: Newly qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or QBE with 3–5 years’ experience in industry.

🔍 Detail Obsessed: Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to spotting and resolving discrepancies.

⚙️ Process Improver: Always looking for ways to automate, enhance systems, controls and reporting efficiency.

📊 Insight Driven: Able to turn financial data into actionable insight through clear, concise commentary.

🤝 Collaborative Communicator: Comfortable working cross-functionally and tailoring financial messages to different audiences.

Your Team 💪🏼

You will be working and reporting directly to our Head of Finance - Charlotte Armitage. You’ll also work with the People, Growth, Business Development, Product and Data teams.

Flexibility in this Role

We are looking for someone to work with us for between 22 and 30 hours per week. We are flexible in terms of what this looks like, our operating hours are between 8am and 6pm from Monday to Friday so as long as your hours fit into this time slot we can make it work - whether it’s 5 short days, 3 longer days or anything in between!

Interview Process:

  1. Initial Phone Interview
    A 15-minute conversation with a member of our Talent Team to get to know you better and answer any initial questions.
  2. Competency Based Interview & Task
    A structured interview with Charlotte Armitage, our Head of Finance, focusing on your experience and key competencies relevant to the role. You will also be asked to complete a short live task which will help us understand your approach and thought process.
  3. Final Interview
    A final stage 15-minute conversation with Natalie Getreu our Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer.
