NantHealth is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Vice President, Clinical Operations to lead the overall clinical and operational management of our oncology and auto-immune-focused platform. This individual will be responsible for ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment of the platform within the broader organizational goals. The VP will oversee a multidisciplinary clinical operations team, contribute to product development and innovation, ensure compliance and quality standards, and serve as a key liaison with external clinical stakeholders and partners.
This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote in the US with the understanding that travel to our Dallas office and other locations may be requested.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage the Eviti product and clinical operations team, including oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, and clinical review staff, ensuring consistent, high-quality evidence-based care delivery.
- Oversee end-to-end operational performance of the Eviti platform, including treatment plan reviews, case throughput, peer-to-peer reviews, and quality assurance.
- Ensure clinical and operational processes support utilization management best practices, with a focus on improving provider experience, turnaround time, and compliance.
- Provide clinical leadership for platform enhancements, product innovation, and integration with payer and provider systems, ensuring clinical relevance and usability.
- Serve as the primary clinical interface between NantHealth and external healthcare stakeholders, including payers, providers, regulatory bodies, and advisory boards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team and cross-functional leaders to optimize platform scalability, process automation, and digital health service delivery.
- Represent Eviti on internal committees (e.g., Quality Management Committee) and ensure alignment with company-wide quality, compliance, and regulatory initiatives.
- Maintain clinical expertise through ongoing engagement with professional societies, peer consultations, and evidence-based practice updates.
- Drive data-informed decision making by partnering with analytics, quality, and engineering teams to evaluate and optimize platform performance metrics.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) strongly preferred; MBA or equivalent business/leadership training a plus (Bachelor’s degree in related field, plus relevant professional experience / knowledge may be considered).
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S. preferred.
- Board Certification in Oncology or Hematology preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of clinical experience with a focus in oncology, including at least 5 years in a healthcare leadership or clinical operations role.
- Experience in utilization management, case review, and health plan or digital health environments strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading clinical teams and scaling digital health platforms or services.
- Experience working for a health plan and deep understanding of prior authorizations and claims processing.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep knowledge of oncology care pathways, clinical guidelines, and payer policy trends.
- Strong organizational and operational management skills with attention to process efficiency and quality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including experience interfacing with physicians, executives, and clinical staff.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation systems, utilization management software, and standard business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Data-driven and results-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to advancing patient-centered care.
The anticipated salary range for applicable US-based applicants to this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.

$150,000 - $196,000 base salary, plus bonus potential.
