The Manager, Finance leads the financial planning revenue analysis and controlling function for North America Clinical Commercial Operations. This role manages a team of financial analysts, providing mentorship, direction, and oversight to ensure high‑quality forecasting, modeling, and reporting. The ideal candidate is a people leader who can develop talent, elevate analytical capabilities, and drive accountability across the revenue planning and controlling process. This role requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex financial data into insights for senior leadership.
Primary Duties
Required Education, Training and Experience:
The estimated salary range for this role based in Utah is between $139,700 – 168,500. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.

Primary Duties
- Oversee the Revenue & Margin reporting and controlling process, incl. forecasting (monthly, quarterly), Budgeting and Strategic planning process (annual).
- Act as key Business Partner and trusted finance advisor for commercial team (Sales, Marketing, ComOps) & senior leadership.
- Represent Finance in commercial strategy meetings and influence decisions with strong financial recommendations.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and discipline in revenue, margin, equipment pipeline, pricing & rebates reporting and forecasting across all product lines and commercial channels.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and high performance.
- Define team priorities, manage workload, and ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
- Develop and ensure the team builds strong partnerships with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Upskill the team in FP&A best practices, financial modeling, automation tools, and storytelling.
- Act as a bridge between Commercial, FP&A, and Accounting team to ensure seamless alignment between commercial business insights, revenue forecasts, and the proper application of accounting standards and group policies.
- Identify and execute process improvements to drive efficiency in the FP&A cycle, incl. reporting, forecasting and modeling.
- Champion the adoption of tool (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau etc.) to improve automation & analytical effectiveness. Build sustainable and validated dashboard and models.
- Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Direct supervision: 3-5 employees supervised
Required Education, Training and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 6+ years of related experience in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field, including demonstrated ability to lead others
- OR HS Diploma/GED and 10+ years of related experience in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field, including demonstrated ability to lead others
- Minimum 2 years of indirect people management experience.
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Direct team leadership preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
- Experience in the Heatlhcare company (ideally Diagnostic) preferred
- Experience in working with Commercial leaders (Sales, Marketing, leaders) and upper management preferred

- Skilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel (Advanced: demonstrates deep knowledge; manages complex tasks and integrates multiple tools independently)
- Advanced Excel, BI tools (Tableau & Alteryx preferred) and strong financial modeling capabilities.
- SAP or other enterprise management system
- Ability to coach, develop, and elevate the performance of a team.
