What will you do to be successful?
As Central Europe Controlling Manager, You Will Be a Key Contributor To The Cluster’s Financial Performance. Reporting Directly To The Cluster CFO, You Will
Lead & Inspire
- Guide a geographically dispersed team of six controllers.
- Develop capabilities, encourage accountability, and promote proactive business partnering.
- Build strong working relationships across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Country Management.
- Support shorter reporting cycles and more dynamic forecasting approaches.
- Collaborate closely with Accounting and the Shared Service Center to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify improvement opportunities and provide well-grounded insights to challenge and support the business.
- Contribute to strategic decisions across pricing, commercial models, margin management, and investments.
- Stay close to both direct and distributor markets with sound financial analysis.
- Provide ad‑hoc insights that support high‑quality decision-making across the cluster.
- Strengthen alignment between commercial and operational teams.
- Support the enhancement of systems including SAP (FI/CO/SD), Salesforce, and Tableau.
You combine expertise, pragmatism, and professional maturity. Ideally, you bring:
Education & Experience
- A Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent in business administration.
- 5+ years of controlling experience, ideally in a distribution or international environment.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, including remote team management.
- Proven experience as a business partner to senior stakeholders.
- A proactive and structured approach with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to challenge constructively and translate financials into actionable insight including strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Solid SAP (FI/CO/SD) knowledge.
- Fluent in German and English, French or Polish would be a plus
- Primary location: Nürtingen close to Stuttgart, Germany
- Willingness to travel ~20%.
