Summary

The people here at Apple don't just build products — they craft the kind of wonder that has revolutionized entire industries. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation running through everything we do, from breakthrough technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Apple's Korea Sales team is seeking an exceptional individual to develop and drive new business initiatives, commercial frameworks, and affordability programs that expand customer access to Apple products across all routes to market in Korea.

We are looking for someone who brings genuine curiosity to every challenge — someone who consistently asks 'What's another way of doing this?' and is proactive in turning ideas into action. If you are a self-starter who takes initiative, thrives in ambiguity, and has the drive to lead meaningful change independently, this role is for you

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and execution of business development strategies and commercial programs for the Korean market. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Legal — as well as Apple's worldwide partners, to design compelling consumer propositions, negotiate key commercial agreements, and deliver high-impact programs that drive sustainable and innovative growth for Apple in Korea.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive new business initiatives, affordability programs, and commercial frameworks in alignment with Apple's company direction and strategic priorities for Korea.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and pricing data to uncover and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Design and deliver innovative consumer propositions and affordability programs tailored specifically to the consumer segment in Korea.
  • Lead end-to-end project management of new business programs — from concept through launch — incorporating partner economics, consumer offer constructs, and key commercial terms.
  • Develop and manage executive-level relationships with key partners, driving commercial alignment and ensuring ongoing adherence to Apple's standards.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact presentations and strategic storylines to C-level executives, both internally and externally, translating complex data and business challenges into clear, structured, and compelling recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Worldwide teams to develop new business models and go-to-market programs, ensuring continued evolution in a dynamic market environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum experience of 5 years in business development, strategic business planning, or partner-facing sales account management, including end-to-end analytical and operational experience, preferably in retail or e-commerce industries.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent analytical, commercial modelling, and structured problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently, with a clear drive to take ownership and lead programs from ideation through to execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems and present effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual communication in both Korean & English.
  • Naturally curious and proactive mindset — consistently explores new approaches, challenges the status quo, and demonstrates initiative in driving outcomes without being asked.
  • Deep knowledge of consumer financing schemes, local channel structures, carrier economics, and the technology product landscape in Korea.
  • Proven experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing senior executive-level relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations to senior leadership, with a track record of driving buy-in through clear, structured, and impactful storytelling.
