You will be part of the APAC Retail Finance team, working cross-functionally with regional Retail Commercial, WW Retail Finance, and Global Retail Support (GRS) teams to drive business insights and strategic decision-making through analysis, engagement, and observation.

This role plays a critical part in evaluating promotional investments, forecasting and analyzing business performance, and delivering actionable insights to support revenue growth and margin optimization.
We are looking for a finance analyst with outstanding influencing skills, deep analytical capabilities, ample financial / quantitative horsepower, interest in Apple’s business and strategy and polished communication skills.

This role plays a critical part in evaluating promotional investments, forecasting and analyzing business performance, and delivering actionable insights to support revenue growth and margin optimization.

Responsibilities
- Review trends for anomalies and analyze the details in order to identify risks and opportunities to ensure “no surprise”
- Partner with Field, GRS, GBS, Operations and other corporate functions to devise responses and actions based on analysis, engagement and observation
- Lead projects in the enablement of systems, tools or processes to improve internal control or to address new, existing or emerging business opportunities
- Lead forecasting, scenario modeling, and performance tracking for the key Apple Retail Shopping Events in China
- Participate in key commercial decisions by providing insightful analysis and recommendations
- Collaborate with Retail Finance Teams from other geographies to ensure implementation of best practices
- Contribute positively in the planning process including quarterly reviews, weekly performance discussions and other performance improvement meetings through ongoing engagement and cross functional collaborations
- 4+ years of progressive and relevant experience in a fast-paced organization
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, articulate key messages concisely, and provide sound financial and business recommendations
- Experience in forecasting and financial planning
- Demonstrates patience, maturity, and strong problem-solving skills when navigating ambiguity
- Strong cross-functional collaboration mindset with a desire to learn and build relationships in a high-performance environment
- Proven track record of building effective business partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to complex projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High level of accountability, ownership, and initiative, with a drive to make an impact
- Experience with data visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau, DataKit, and SQL
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative field.
