Apple is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Government Affairs to drive our engagement in Türkiye. You will play a critical role in shaping policy and building relationships with key government stakeholders to support Apple's strategic objectives and expansion initiatives.

Description

The Senior Manager Government Affairs necessitates a deep understanding of the regulatory and policy environment that impacts Apple. This position is designed for a professional who has hands-on experience with public policy analysis and government engagement, and who is ready to take ownership of day-to-day policy work while contributing to regional and global strategies. The role will focus on monitoring regulatory developments, supporting and leading advocacy efforts, and managing relationships with key government and industry stakeholders. The position reports into the regional public policy leadership.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and report on legislative, regulatory, political and economic developments in Türkiye relevant to the company’s operations.
• Support the development and execution of public policy and government affairs strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Build and maintain working-level relationships with government institutions, regulators, and industry associations.
• Prepare policy briefs, stakeholder mappings, talking points, and executive-level updates.
• Represent the company in external meetings, consultations, and industry forums, as appropriate.
• Coordinate with internal teams (legal, product, trade and regional policy) to ensure consistent messaging and alignment.
• Support responses to regulatory consultations, public statements, and advocacy initiatives.
• Contribute Türkiye-specific insights to regional and global policy discussions.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Min 10 years of experience in public policy, government affairs, regulatory affairs, or a related field, with track-record in Türkiye.
• Solid understanding of Türkiye’s political system, regulatory institutions, and legislative processes.
• Experience engaging with government stakeholders, regulators, or industry bodies.
• Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex policy issues into clear business-relevant insights.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a matrixed, international environment.
• Fluency in Turkish and English is required.
• High energy, self-driven, result oriented.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
