Appleʼs WW Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. We are, in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.
As part of the Worldwide Attach Ecosystem Business Development team, your primary role is to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class merchandising and communication programs in support of the sale of Apple attach products (Beats, Accessories and AppleCare). These programs are a key component of driving the best in class customer experience in the channel for Apple, incorporating visual merchandizing, fixtures, marketing assets, staffing, training, demo units, content and more.

As part of the Worldwide Attach Ecosystem Business Development team, your primary role is to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class merchandising and communication programs in support of the sale of Apple attach products (Beats, Accessories and AppleCare). These programs are a key component of driving the best in class customer experience in the channel for Apple, incorporating visual merchandizing, fixtures, marketing assets, staffing, training, demo units, content and more.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing merchandising programs for Apple Attach Ecosystem (Beats, Accessories and AppleCare).
- Manage ongoing fixture creative across multiple channels.
- Manage relationships with agency and print partners.
- Lead new merchandising programs in support of new product launches, seasonal campaigns and new marketing initiatives, including the design and creation of custom fixtures as needed.
- Ensure partner media, retail store marketing, and merchandising opportunities are fully understood and ensure premium visibility for Apple attach and Beats products.
- Own localization, production, deployment, and evaluation of all channel marketing campaigns for attach products.
- Analyze the effectiveness of each program developing an iterative cycle of continuous improvement.
- Own the budget forecasting and management for all Communication and merchandising activities. Ensure efficient allocation and provide spend reporting to WorldWide teams.
- Work Closely with Apple World Wide (WW) HQ in Cupertino, CA and Beats’ WW HQ in Culver City, CA where you will be expected to develop key relationships with your WW counterparts and help influence the generation of new strategies to support campaigns in-region.
- Demonstrated experience in account management, ad agency, or in-house marketing communications
- Proven track record delivering marketing campaigns within an agency or on the client side.
- Extensive Project management in a creative or marketing function
- Background in brick and mortar and digital retail marketing
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
- Comfort with ambiguity. Resourcefulness and flexibility to drive programs independently, marshaling required resources from a complex, matrixed organization
- Excellent presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to understand and articulate the big picture while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details
- Ability to travel domestically (~25%) and occasionally Internationally.
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Deep knowledge of marketing tools, strategies, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of connecting business and marketing objectives with effective customer-facing solutions
- Strong ability to connect dots, cut through the noise, and quickly identify the correct strategy.
