As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our product lifecycle,

orchestrating cross-functional efforts and ensuring the successful delivery of Apple's

Description

This hands-on EPM role is critical for driving and aligning cross-functional engineering

resources across the product development cycle. You will formulate, execute, and

communicate priorities, risks, and schedules, collaborating closely with internal teams and

external partners to resolve engineering issues from mass production throughout field

returns.

Responsibilities

  • As an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) role in the Strategic EPM team, you will be responsible for the system level products (products included but not limited to: iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, Accessories) in the following areas:
  • Lead Post-Ramp Qualifications and new technology trials for current shipping product platforms.
  • Manage MLB/FATP site qualifications to ensure successful shipping products.
  • Drive the EPM function for products in early development phases, overseeing project timelines and deliverables.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project development schedules.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating and contributing to multidisciplinary technical environments and detailed knowledge of product development processes and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional efforts to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, ensuring clear communication to all stakeholders.
  • Experience interfacing with product design, operations, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.
  • Travel internationally as needed to engage with manufacturing partners and resolve critical engineering issues.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS Mechanical/Electrical/Material Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of overall industry experience shipping consumer electronics products.
  • Experience working with China OEMs in high volume production products.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS Mechanical/Electrical/Material Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with portable products including displays, batteries, WiFi/BT, cellular, input
  • devices, enclosures, silicon, and/or mass storage.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
