ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Operations and Quality Intern is an undergraduate level, hands on role supporting Cardiosense’s Quality and Operations functions within a regulated medical device environment. This position is designed for a student interested in how quality systems, operational processes, and compliance requirements support the execution of medical device programs.
The intern will support quality documentation and systems, assist with operational workflows, observe and administratively support one of Cardiosense’s device programs from an operations and quality perspective, and contribute to light HR related projects as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Quality and Compliance Support
-Enter and maintain training records within the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS)
-Issue and manage training documents for Quality Management System documentation as needed
-Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and or ERP system implementation efforts
-Assist with organization and maintenance of quality documentationGain exposure to quality processes within a regulated medical device environment
Strategic Initiatives Support
-Contribute to cross-functional projects that span technology, strategy, and commercialization
-Observe and provide administrative support to one of Cardiosense’s active product development programs
-Help synthesize technical and market insights into clear, actionable takeaways for internal stakeholders
Human Resources Support
-Assist with light HR related projects as needed
-Support documentation, data tracking, or process improvement initiatives within People Operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfort working with documentation, systems, and data entry
  • Ability to follow established processes in a regulated environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in medical devices, quality systems, operations, or healthcare

PREFERRED:

  • Exposure to quality systems, compliance, or regulated environments
  • Experience working with documentation or data systems
  • Interest in operations, quality, or project coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

COMPENSATION AND ACADEMIC CREDIT:

  • This is a paid, hourly internship position.
  • Academic credit may be available if required by the intern’s academic program and must be arranged by the student through their school.
