About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to develop the backend for our medical device software. This role requires strong software engineering skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable regulatory-grade applications in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable Python backend services
- Architect backend systems with Git for version control
- Design and integrate APIs and data pipelines
- Deploy applications using Kubernetes and Docker
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Manage SQL and NoSQL databases
- Implement messaging solutions (RabbitMQ, Redis
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and best practices
- Work with Pandas, NumPy, and optimize algorithms
- Participate in code reviews and resolve technical challenges
- Communicate project status and meet deadlines while maintaining quality
Qualifications:
- 4 to 6 years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong Python skills with production application development
- Proficient in Git for version control.
- Experience in API design, data pipelines, and databases (SQL & NoSQL)
- Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization
- Familiar with Pandas, NumPy, and message queues (RabbitMQ, Red
- Proficient in asynchronous and synchronous programming
- Strong OOP, CI/CD, and deployment knowle
- Skilled in algorithms, problem-solving, and quick learning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and timely delivery
Bonus Point:
- Experience with C++
- Proficiency in modern AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Co-Pilot)
- Expertise in building and optimizing data engineering and AI pipelines
- Experience in Agile development. Open-source contributions
- Knowledge of FDA regulations for software development
