Backed by YC, Ankr is led by a team that’s built successful companies before. This role will be responsible for leading our growing engineering team spread across two continents.

Critical domains: Healthcare || Agentic AI || Geometric self-expressive ML model || Revenue product || EHR integrations || Robotic process automation – Must have experience in at least two of these.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions tailored for the healthcare domain.
  • Lead development of FHIR + HL7-based integrations and implementation of Ankr in various Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, Athena, Cerner
  • Lead development, integration and implementation of robust RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions for Ankr integrations in EHR systems
  • Maintain and improve existing applications to align with the company’s technological and business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare IT standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC2 type 2, HIPAA).
  • Recruit top shelf talent from across the globe

Required Skills and Experience

  • Healthcare Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare domain, with hands-on exposure to EHR systems.
  • EHR Integration Experience: Proven track record of successfully integrating and deploying EHR platforms.
  • RPA Experience (Preferred): Experience designing and deploying RPA solutions (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
  • Technical Proficiency: Python, web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS), Java (optional)
  • DevSecOps: Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

Additional Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with global teams
