Job descriptionThe position requires an aptitude for laboratory bench work. Hands-on expertise in molecular biology experimental procedures is needed. The successful candidate will perform nucleic acid isolations (manual and automated), quality and quantity analyses, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparations, and the development of new genomics-based assays. Job Location is at our new lab in Jammu & Kashmir.Essential Qualifications, Experiences, and Skills:• Masters or Bachelors degree in any life sciences discipline.• Hands-on experience in basic molecular biology techniques.• Strong aptitude for laboratory work and should be a detail-oriented person.• Basic IT skills that include familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.• Ability to maintain accurate records of laboratory work.• Willingness to learn, and should be a team player.Desirable Experiences and Skills:• Hands-on experience in NGS library preparation.• Prior work experience in the Industry.• Good understanding of Illumina NGS technology.• Experience in the lab accreditation processes like NABL etc.
